Here at ANNIE HAAK HQ we are always looking for an excuse to eat cake, and what better excuse than to celebrate my birthday!
I woke up on my birthday to some beautiful flowers all the way from Australia, sent by my son and granddaughters. A stunning mix of pink and purple flowers from The Real Flower Company really brightened up my birthday morning.
I share my birthday with my twin sister Vicky, so of course we had to celebrate by having a wonderful lunch of Lobster and for dessert, birthday cake! The day was topped off with a lovely hot chocolate complete with marshmallows and whipped cream for an extra treat!
After spending my birthday yesterday with family and friends, I arrived in the office this morning to find a beautiful chocolate cake made by Shannon from the production team. Delicious layers of chocolate cake and buttercream topped with slabs of chocolate and chocolate dipped strawberries not only looked gorgeous but tasted it too! If you can’t enjoy cake for breakfast on your birthday, when can you!
Team ANNIE HAAK have also treated me to a fabulous lunch for two at The Ritz in London. I am very excited to enjoy a delicious three course meal in the luxurious restaurant, now I need to decide what to wear!
