Supporting a charity close to our hearts, Dementia Support

ANNIE HAAK Designs is proud to support a number of different charities with hugely worthy causes, from women empowerment, to elderly dementia patients and children’s welfare services.

We recently partnered with a charity local to our head offices in Petersfield, Dementia Support, a charity changing the way patients access dementia services and care.

A young charity based near Chichester,Dementia Support provides specific support for people with young onset dementia and has a technology showroom with dementia friendly equipment for the home, enabling people to remain in their own homes.

On 8th May, we were delighted to support the charity in the opening of their dedicated dementia hub, Sage House, the first of its kind in the UK, which brings all dementia services under one roof for people living with dementia, their families and carers. The hub offers respite, information and advice, social activities, memory assessment services, health and wellbeing services and consultation rooms.

HRH The Countess of Wessex was there to officially open Sage House and was gifted a unique ANNIE HAAK Sterling silver bracelet, hand-beaded in the UK featuring a charm engraved with Dementia Support’s logo. We’ll also be joining Dementia Support on 26th May for a Roaring 20s evening where we’ll be donating two bespoke ANNIE HAAK stacks to the auction in support of this wonderful charity and giving a Sterling silver gift to every lady in attendance.
