The Brit Awards is always a star-studded occasion with style icons from the music world showing off their wardrobes as well as their talents. This year’s event did not disappoint on the fashion-front, particularly where jewellery is concerned, and it was all about big earrings!

Sir Peter Blake, best known for his pop-art during the 1950s and 1960s, designed this year’s Brits trophy with a very British theme of red, white and blue. But, he couldn’t resist a dusting of stars and hearts, much like Annie Haak's sterling silver jewellery.

The first stylish performance of the night came from Florence and the Machine. Florence was decked in a gorgeous floaty, 1920s-inspired number with sheer skirt and lots of gold and silver glitz. However, red was very much the colour of the evening.

Jessie-J presented an award and looked ravishing in a sheer red gown and accessorised with her signature big earrings. Olly Murs performed with Rizzle Kicks and was surrounded by lovely ladies in red. International Breakthrough Act, Lana Del Rey, also looked stunning in a classic red gown and wore understated clear crystal earrings to finish her look.  Why not get Lana’s look and a touch of her star quality with a pair of Hati Sterling Silver and gemstone star earrings?

There were splashes of other colours throughout the show - and not just from Rhianna’s dancing painters. Lovely Ed Sherran, who walked away with British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act, looked good enough to eat in peridot green. Gorgeous Kylie Minogue looked sensational in a YSL sapphire blue dress with jewelled accent to the empire-waist and large sparkling silver earrings.

“This gorgeous YSL creation is a fabulous look on Kylie, who always manages to pull off effortlessly stylish and look glam,” says fashion jewellery designer Annie Haak. “Blue was hot last year but I think we’ll be seeing it making a return this coming season. There’s certainly more to come from turquoise this Spring/Summer.”

You could channel Kylie’s look with a pair of our Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings.

British Female Solo Artist and Mastercard British Album of the Year winner Adele kept it chic in black with her trademark big hair and the slightest glimpse of clear crystal earrings beneath.  This is an outfit that would have also looked just as amazing teamed with one of Kylie’s sister’s favourites - Suka Black Onyx and Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet from Annie Haak Designs.
