A top fashion magazine has kept check of the colours that the Queen has been wearing for the last year and, in light of her impending Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Annie Haak Designs thought we’d have a look at the sterling silver jewellery in our current collection that would most complement Her Royal Highness’ style.

Vogue followed the Queen on one year’s progression through the colour spectrum and it’s clear that our marvellous monarch prefers some hues and patterns over others. Here are the colours she favours for her clothing and fashion accessories:

29% Blue

13% Floral

11% Green

11% Cream

10% Purple

10% Pink

It seems that blue is the monarch’s colour of choice and throughout the Annie Haak Designs collection we have some gorgeous sterling silver jewellery in shades from sapphire and brilliant blue to icy turquoise. The standout blue piece from our latest collection is Santi Single Ice Bracelet - My Guardian Angel – Turquoise. Hand-crafted using sterling silver beads and frosted turquoise seaglass beads, this bracelet features our My Guardian Angel charm and is as cool as ice.

HRH has also been working the florals– very on trend for the current season. We have a whole range of flower-inspired silver bracelets, necklaces and earrings in the latest Annie Haak Designs collection. Here are some of our favourite that would have you looking like a princess: Itsy Bitsy Silver Flower Stem Necklace, Candy Pop Flower Necklaces, Orchid Sterling Silver Heart Flower Bracelet and Sterling Silver Daisy Earrings.

Queeny’s been seen in green quite a bit this last year too and we think all you Royal trend-followers would die for our Sterling silver and gemstone Sparkle Ring in peridot. Let’s be honest, if you want to emulate regal style then you can wear as many rings as you want and these original Annie Haak creations are perfect for stacking. Your loyal subjects will be queuing up to kiss your hands!

Cream never fails to be oh-so-chic and we think that the Queen herself would look divine in our Silver and Pearl Tiara Necklace and Bracelet as she’s already a fan of pearl jewellery. Not only does this stunning set, featuring hand strung freshwater pearls with a sterling silver clasp and sterling silver daisy flower detail, add a little 50s glamour to a frock coat and dress for a formal occasion but it would look just as gorgeous worn with a casual outfit.

Are you onboard with the Queen’s favourite colour combinations? Why not celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in style with an ode to her Majesty?
